How it Works

User lands on the trip page, and then tries reserving a spot. On the checkout page, we show a quick OTP-based login/signup. User account is created based on the phone number after OTP verification. After successful payment, we add a percentage of the paid amount as cashback credits to their account.

Considerations

  • We discussed if we have multiple guests, we will add cashback credits to guests’ phone numbers, but if the guests’ phone number is wrong, they will lose the credits.
  • And probably we should not let them use the cashback credits they have earned on the same trip (think of credits earned from booking, and then part payments).
